I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years. I began my career while in college at the University of Washington working for The Picture Man. I shot everything from college parties to high school and college graduation ceremonies. It was busy, fun work that taught me a lot about how to shoot candid photography in changing environments with various people and various light. I then graduated from the UW with a BFA degree in Photography. In May of 1998, I moved to Sun Valley, Idaho where I became involved with Magic Photography. I managed the business for 10 years and in that time shot thousands of family portraits. The main thrust of the business was all the on mountain photography for Sun Valley, which included ski race, group and candid portrait photography. I also shot a number of weddings throughout those years. Another component of the business was exclusive photography of the Allen and Company conference which is held annually in Sun Valley. There, we shot everyone from dignitaries to celebrities, CEO's of Fortune 500 companies to politicians and all their families. All of this photography was then printed by me. I am a printer at heart and believe that a photographer's skills shouldn't end with turning over the film to someone else. Quality of my prints is paramount. Quality of the finished product that hangs on your wall is the only true test of a photographer.
In the Spring of 2009, I moved to South Lake Tahoe, California with the love of my life and our two dogs. It is here that I wish to offer you all of my skills, attention, professionalism and quality. I look forward to bringing your visions to life...
